In my approach to capturing feelings about gardens, which I visit a lot in the summer, I wanted to achieve a water color effect to show how delicate and thin and soft petals are within the garden.  I layered in thin washes (thinned out with gel medium not water) of pigment and used caran d'ache which is a water soluable crayon.  I am happy with this delicate process in the work.  The composition is also layed out in more of a geometric way compared to my other works, just like a garden may be layed out in the ground.
