I did not intend for this painting to be a floral work. Many artists, including myself, speak about intuitive painting as a way of letting the painting lead the way. Yes I decided on my color palette and mixed tonal values and highlights with white. The magic of the work happens when marks go down and the response becomes this beautiful flow of the unknown. This 30x40 acrylic on canvas became a blue floral. I hope you enjoy it.
